Back to the old Ri .. ?
So it looks like Rihanna's bored of her red locks and opted for a more subtle do.
But what do you think?
When Rihanna first came out with her red hair i personally was NOT a fan but after a while it did start to grow on me and as she lengthened her hair and styled the red tussles a tad more relaxed, i actually started to like it.
Rihanna's been one of the most popular hair icons since she chopped off her girl next door golden waves and opted for a pixie crop. However her most popular and definitely most copied hair style was the red mid length hair and if anything i feel it made her even more popular.
I never thought i would have said this when i first saw the red hair.. but i'm kinda gonna miss it.
Looks like she's back to the golden waves for the time being, maybe she's just run out of ideas...? But she still looks as gorgeous as ever.
Wonder what we'll see next from her.. ?

Pearl and Daisy Lowe at Vintage 2011
"The soundtrack of our life" titled catwalk show by Daisy and Pearl Lowe featured 'Black Swan' inspired make up and ballet dancers gracing the catwalk.
The show featured original vintage dresses as well as Pearl's own designs for her line in Peacocks.
Daisy commented that the show was a tribute to Amy Winehouse and played Amy's hit 'Back to black' during the show.

Vintage fashion 2011
So this weekend saw the launch of Vintage Fashion Festival at London's Southbank.
With such lovely weather it couldn't have been a better weekend for the vintage devoted event . The crowds came in their hundreds making such a great effort, with tributes to the 40's and 50's and the odd 60's and 70's hippy/disco wear.
The festival featured; catwalk shows, live bands, market stalls to shop vintage, dancing, free hair styling for that 40's pin up look and more.

Remember Lee?
I remember once upon a time when this denim brand was everywhere and on everyone, and although it never really went anywhere.. I kinda dont recall seeing it around for a while.
However, Lee has launched its SS11 campaign entitiled "A Lee Dont Lie" shot by renowned photographer Terry Richardson which also stars Elvis Presley's granddaughter Riley Keough.
In other exciting news the 122 year old brand is opening its second London store in Westfields, White city. Located in the retail wonderlands "denim alley", Lee has a new 'best selection' of mens and womens collections aswell as an accessories line with bags, wallets and other small leather goods.

Ai Heart Japan.
On Monday the 14th (2days exactly) designers, muscians and fashionistas are coming together for Ai (♥)Heart Japan, an idependant charity auction and raffle to raise money for civic force for the the devastating earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan last month.
Auction go-ers have the chance to take part in a blind auction, for items like an Alexander Mcqueen cashmere mens coat from the debut menswear collection from '96, a vintage look from Yohji Yamamoto's '03 collection amongsts other intising grabs.
Tickets for entrance are £30 and raffle tickets are at £10, with chances of winning a Mcqueen clutch, Chanel make-up, a signed first copy of Daniel Sannwald's new book and various dinner vouchers from leading London resturants.

Chip shop to Catwalk.
17 year old Alexander Beck, a part-time worker for his local essex chippy has left his £90- a week job to become the new face of Prada.
The student, currently studying for his AS levels was spotted in a book shop in Cambridge by top fashion scout Ceaser Perin.
A month later Alexander was booked by Italian fashion house Prada to show case their clothing at Milan fashion week.
He is signed with London based modelling agency FM is now being named one of Britans most promising faces in fashion and has already appeared for YSL, Louis Vuitton, Vogue and Dior.
Super model Agness Deyn,28 is said to have been spotted working in a chip shop in Ramsbottom (never heard of it either) near Manchester. and Kate Moss was also 17 when her career as a model launched !
